Agimat Tattoo
Agimat, or anting-anting, are amulets in Filipinx mystical practices. They can be worn as jewelry, clothing, and in our case, tattoos. These are not the same as a regular flash tattoo. Agimat are imbued with special properties and commonly worn for protection and are often kept secret (it is your choice to have it visible or not). Traditional Filipinx spiritual practices were largely animist and our agimat practices reflect that. Agimat are “patay” (dead) until they are awakened through a ritual of consecration by the wearer. The agimat must be “fed” regularly to maintain their effect. Treat this agimat tattoo as a sacred ally that must be cared for on the sacred altar of your body.
Most of these agimat are intended to be roughly palm-sized and will vary in price (flat fee) based on complexity and size. Unless otherwise marked they are repeatable.
